| In 1983, Jack Hertig and
Dee piloted PRINT OLIVE to Top Ten in NRHA World Standings in TWO events,
- he being one of the few paints shown at that time in NRHA history.
1976 model Print Olive was retired to live out his days on the ranch,
after 2000 no longer was at stud and passed away at age 29 in August
of 2004. Print Olive is buried by our slide track.
PRINTS TOY, a son of Print Olive out of Dixies Ms
Cowbeau (NRHA monies earned) placed in the finals of the 2001 APHA
World 3 yr old Reining Challenge. In 2002 he won the NRHA Open
Reining at the Glen Rose Stampede and was 2nd in the Open at the
Lubbock TX Sandstorm Ride and Slide Reining. 2002 WTRHA OPEN
CHAMPION and APHA ROM earned in only 2 shows - gaining 9 pts from
the first show.
FLASH - after a long vacation - we
put TOY back to work this year - results are WTRHA INTERMEDIATE OPEN
AND LIMITED OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP AND WTRHA LIMITED NON PRO RESERVE CHAMPIONSHIP
During the years, Jack has taken various
candidates to World Show Top Ten and futurity Top Ten placings.
Jack's non-pros and youth have experienced
great success in the show pen AND have done so even without his presence
at shows!!
Our focus over decades was breeding
our limited amount of broodmares to raise high quality reining candidates.
The pretty athlete was our goal.
Our current direction is slowing down
and enjoying life with a few horses. Please check our reining horses
for sale page for some very qualified candidates to add to your program
as you take advantage of our "reining horse controlled dispersal".
